Glückscentspende

With the Glückscentspende, BASF employees donate the cents of their monthly net income to a charitable cause. The sum is donated to charitable organizations or projects in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, which are actively suggested by employees and then selected by vote. With a small contribution, BASF employees at the Ludwigshafen site can support projects close to their hearts in the region. In the end, they decide which projects will be supported through their nomination. Whether a climbing frame for the youth center, a new goal for the soccer club or a bookcase in the neighborhood: the Glückscent donation is intended to turn wishes and ideas into reality. All employees who take part in the Glückscentspende are invited to vote on the projects submitted. Depending on the result of the vote, the projects are then supported with donations.

From April, all BASF employees at the Ludwigshafen site will have the opportunity to voluntarily register for the Glückscent donation via the HRkiosk. The additional amount on the pay slip will then be automatically rounded down each month and paid into the donation pot. More detailed information, e.g. exactly which projects will be supported and how to register for the Glückscentspende in the HRkiosk, will be announced in March.
